Dear _________________,

Please support the bills which would protect monuments statewide and prevent the removal of monuments in New
Orleans including HB 71, HB 292, and SB 198, which would prevent the removal of historic monuments anywhere in the
state.

Louisiana, including the city of New Orleans, should continue to honor its veterans and history by leaving monuments in
their rightful place. Please do not support amendments which would remove New Orleans (Orleans Parish) from the
bill(s) since these monuments are the most threatened.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
