The Monumental Task Committee, Inc. is dedicated to repairing and preserving pieces of local New Orleans history, making the city more attractive for residents and visitors. Our area of focus is the preservation and care of the 245+ monuments that are located within the city limits. For every project that we facilitate, we utilize only industry standard preservation practices, materials and techniques. Our important work is carried out through the generous support of countless volunteers, sponsors, donors and supporters, for which we are extremely thankful.

The Monumental Task Committee, Inc. depends on the support of individuals, foundations, and its membership for funding. We also conduct our own fundraising initiatives and events.
